Cartoonist Sydney - Live Digital Caricatures

Kumar is the recipient of numerous international awards including the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship and the INLAKS Foundation Award in cartooning and caricature. He trained at The Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London and has had his work published in more than 35 international publications including The Sydney Morning Herald and Punch magazine.

Drawing a digital caricature is similar to creating hand-drawn caricatures. Each caricature is drawn manually on a Wacom tablet computer instead of drawing paper and projected on a 30-inch Apple monitor in real time, stroke by stroke. Once the caricature is finished, it is printed on high quality photographic paper at a convenient size of 6"x4" and given to the guest as a unique take-home souvenir.

After the event, the organiser gets a CD with high-resolution images of all the caricatures created at the event.

Digital caricatures have few benefits that can't be achieve drawing on paper. They may be printed in large size, used in newletters, web pages, coffee mugs, business cards, wedding invitations... the options are unlimited.
